Tommy Antonio is a London based songwriter, lyricist, bookwriter, and multi instrumentalist whose output spans musical theatre, soundtracks, and alt pop.

He is under commission by Roald Dahl Story Company to adapt one of their most beloved titles into a stage musical. His adaptation of Pinocchio as bookwriter/lyricist in collaboration with the Grinning Man composer Marc Teitler is in development with West End producers Hartshorn & Hook. Tommy continues to develop new original musicals as bookwriter, composer and lyricist.

With long time collaborator Dom James they form alt pop duo Shaker Neon, as heard on Radio 1. They are currently recording their first album.

As a solo artist under the moniker Tenderland his two singles Only In My Dreams and Magic have enjoyed an audience worldwide. He is working on the third.

In 2022 Tommy composed the soundtrack for Julian Briceño’s multi award winning basque animation Testimonio, while 2023 will see his plaintive folk melodies released into the wild on award winning screenwriter, director and playwright James Cawood’s short film ‘Summer’s Child’.  These follow soundtracks on 2016’s ‘Focus’ by lauded Hong Kong director Mo Lai Yan Chi, and the stirring short ‘The Refuge’ by Maria Millan in 2017.
